Lifted, arched brows can make the eyes appear larger, more relaxed, refreshed and wider. Eyebrow positioning is both genetic and influenced by age – as we get older our eyebrows and upper eyelids can droop due to anatomical changes in the skin, underlying fat and bone. During your consultation our doctors will assess your face and determine whether a brow lift can be achieved for you and which treatment method is best.
We use a specialist procedure that requires an individualised approach to achieve a natural-looking, non-surgical eyebrow lift. At Story, our highly experienced doctors use industry-leading Juvederm® products, wrinkle reduction injections or filler, or a combination of both to achieve this, depending on the cause of your starting eyebrow position.
Our brow lift uses micro-injections in the area between and around the eyebrows to relax the muscles that pull the eyebrows down. The result will gradually appear over 2 weeks, for a result that lasts for 3-6 months.
We often achieve a more long-lasting result with a filler brow arch procedure which involves volumising the temples and placing filler directly under the eyebrow. Filler treatment in these areas typically lasts 9 months to over a year.
A more complete upper-face rejuvenation can be achieved by treating the forehead. The curve of the forehead becomes flatter with age due to bone loss, contributing to eyebrow sagging as well as causing a more masculine and aged appearance in profile. Rejuvenating the forehead with filler is a long-lasting treatment that indirectly improves the eyebrow appearance, producing the best results when combined with brow lifting techniques.
Your treatment is bespoke to your requirements, each face is unique and we want to keep it that way.
Below are some of the frequently asked questions people ask regarding this treatment.
If you can’t find the answer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and one of our advisors can help.
Yes it does help to a degree; a brow lift makes your eyes look larger and wider. However it won’t directly tighten your eyelid skin. For this we would recommend our Eye Tight treatment.
Yes you can, however we would require your semi-permanent make up treatment to have been performed at least 2 weeks before your eyebrow lift treatment.
This varies so much from person to person. However, the younger you are the easier it is to achieve significant results with a smaller amount of product (due to tighter skin and muscle in the area) so any time from your late twenties onwards is appropriate.
